Recurring Rides

Wednesdays 9:00 am B 35–50 Wheel Base
Wednesday AM Road Ride
This is a mid-week ride that starts at the Wheel Base Bike shop in Frederick. Call the bike shop in advance for more information. www.wheelbasebikes.com or 301-663-9288

Wednesdays 6:25 pm CC 20–30 Starvin Marvin's Pizza
Lights & Pizza
Lights (a front headlight and a rear taillight) are required on this friendly, social ride. Remember that the temperatures will be dropping throughout the ride, so dress appropriately. Pizza after the-ride. The colder it is, the more hills we are likely to climb (for warmth). No one will be dropped.

Sundays 8:00 am A/B 35–50 Wheel Base
Sunday Morning Road Ride
The entire group stays together for about an hour then usually breaks into two smaller groups, a faster ride and a slower ride. Ride goes if not too windy and roads are dry. Contact the shop in advance for more information. www.wheelbasebikes.com or 301-663-9288

New Year's Day Impromptu
OK, so technically it's not an impromptu ride if it's on the schedule - sheesh! Anyway, start your year right by riding every day! Keep an eye on the FPYG for further details and banal banter.

Jan 9 (Sat) 9:00 AM CC 40+/- Rose Hill Plaza
Bagel Rides XXIX
Bagel rides are back for this season. Don’t sit at home all winter - come on out for the Bagel Rides. The distance and hills will vary depending on the weather. Warm 40+, will be 40 miles and hilly. Colder less miles and less hills. After the ride lunch will be at the ZiPani Bagel store.

Jan 16 (Sat) 8:30 AM C 55 Little Bennett Park, Hyattstown, MD
Rustic Roads Ride
Ride in the Ag reserve on rural and rustic rural roads. Stop in Dickerson market.

Feb 13 (Sat) 10:45 AM CC 52 Rose Hill Plaza
Annual Birthday Ride
We'll go north somewhere, and stop somewhere else for either a sit-down (Country Kitchen) or a stand-up (Sheetz). It depends. If weather or road conditions are suspect, phone the leader before 9:45 am. If very cold and/or windy, the ride distance may be decreased. Leader(s) may be on a tandem.
