Wednesdays 6:15 pm B 20-30 Luke's Pizza
Lights & Pizza

Lights are mandatory on this friendly, social ride; you’ll need a front white headlight and a rear red taillight. If you possess a reflective vest and/or clothing, wear them. Remember that the temperatures will be dropping throughout the ride. Pizza and/or sandwiches at Luke’s after the ride. We usually do some hills in order to stay warm. No one will be dropped.

Sundays 9:00 am A/B 35-50 Wheel Base
The Sunday Morning Road Ride

The entire group stays together for about an hour then usually breaks into two smaller groups, a faster ride and a slower ride. Ride goes if it is not too windy and the roads are dry. Start times vary during the year based on shop hours so contact the shop in advance for more information.

Non-Recurring Rides

Mar 1 (Sat) 9:30 am All Talley Recreation Center
Annual Meeting Ride

Join us for an easy ride before the Frederick Pedalers annual meeting. We'll choose a route and mileage based on conditions at ride time and will plan to be back in plenty of time for the meeting that starts at 12:00 noon. Please note we can not bring bicycles inside the Talley Center after the ride so bring your locks if needed.

Mar 15 (Sat) 10:00 am B 50 Rose Hill Plaza
Catoctin Climber I (Longer)

This is two rides in one. Meet at Rose Hill Plaza at 10 am for a 50-miler or Lewistown Elementary School for a 31-miler. The longer ride will stop at Lewistown to pick up the riders for the shorter ride. This ride is hilly and will climb Catoctin Hollow Road. Don't make me 'splain this to you at the ride start... We shall regroup at the tops of the climbs and stop at the Sheetz in Thurmont for food/drink.

Mar 15 (Sat) 10:45 am B-/C+ 31 Lewistown Elementary School
Catoctin Climber II (Shorter)

See 10:00 am ride description for details.

Mar 22 (Sat) 10:00 am C 20-25 Ballenger Creek Middle School
Float into Lilypons

We'll meander along the country roads surrounding south of town. It's not flat, but there are no steep hills. Rest at Lilypons Water Gardens and check out the water lilies and koi. We will return and have lunch/brunch at a suitable spot towards the end of the ride. We will ride as a group and no one will be left behind - guaranteed!

Mar 29 (Sat) 10:00 am D 7/13 Lewistown Elementary School
Pick Your Distance

This ride is for beginners and those who like a short, easy ride. We'll start at Lewistown Elementary School and head north on some of the quietest and least hilly roads that Frederick County offers. We will loop back and arrive at the school after seven miles. Those who wish to can call it quits there. The ride will continue south and loop around to see the Utica Covered Bridge before arriving at the school for a thirteen-mile ride.

Like the saying goes, "You can pick your friends and you can pick your distance, but you can't pick your friend's distance."

Apr 18 (Fri) B 65/100 Rose Hill Plaza
Spring Century

Repeat of last fall's century and metric routes, hopefully without the wind. Date and time are to be finalized so stay tuned. The century and metric starts will be coordinated so we all ride together.

Please note: Wheel Base, Bicycle Escape and Bicycle Fix rides are not "official" Frederick Pedalers rides and are listed as a courtesy
