Please note that the times specified for each ride are the ride start times. You should
arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time to prepare for the ride.

Bechtel Rides
The rides leave from the Bechtel parking lot (along the woods) at 5275
Westview Drive (off Crestwood close to Rt. 85) at 6:00 PM. Bring lights (front and
rear); may always be some hills, and we'll try to stay together.
Wednesdays 9:00 am B+ 35-50 Wheel Base
Wednesday Morning Road Ride
This is a mid-week ride that starts at the Wheel Base bike shop in Frederick.

Luke's Pizza
Lights & Pizza
Lights are mandatory on this friendly, social ride; you’ll need a front white
headlight and a rear red taillight. If you possess a reflective vest and/or
clothing, wear them. Remember that the temperatures will be dropping
throughout the ride. Pizza and/or sandwiches at Luke’s after the ride. We
usually do some hills in order to stay warm. No one will be dropped.
Sundays 9:00 am A/B 35-50 Wheel Base
The Sunday Morning Road Ride
The entire group stays together for about an hour then usually breaks
into two smaller groups, a faster ride and a slower ride. Ride goes
if it is not too windy and the roads are dry. Start times vary during
the year based on shop hours so contact the shop in advance for more information.

New Year's Day Impromptu
Start the New Year out right or suffer the wrath of Floyd !
Jan 12 (Sat) 11:00 am C 28 Whittier Elementary School
A Quick Tour of Mountaindale (or quicker if it's real cold!)
Let's head out for a mid-winter spin through the peaceful back roads of
Frederick County and thumb our noses at the cold. There is only one tiny, hill-like
entity on Lenhart, but it will keep us warm. We shall ride as a group and no
one's behind will be left. A mid-ride snack sounds good, too. It always does.
Jan 13 (Sun) 10:00 am C+ 20-40 Rose Hill Plaza
Bagel Rides XX
Bagel rides are back for this season. Don't sit at home all winter - come on out
for the Bagel Rides. The distance and hills will vary depending on the weather. Warm
40+, will be 40 miles and hilly. Colder less miles and less hills. After the ride
lunch at the ZiPani Bagel store.
Jan 27 (Sun) 9:35 am C+ 32 Taneytown Memorial Park
Taneytown-Littlestown Breakfast
Join us for an 11-mile ride to Dutterer's for breakfast, followed by
a 21-mile return trip for a total of 32 miles. We will leave promptly
because they cease serving breakfast at 11 am. Fairly flat; only 1,000
feet elevation gain. If it is warm, the leader will be on a tandem.

Feb 17 (Sun) 11:00 am B- 50 Rose Hill Plaza
Annual Birthday Ride
Here we go again. If the weather cooperates we'll try for the full 50
miles. Otherwise, we'll not ride as far. Zipani's after the ride.
Feb 23 (Sat) 10:00 am D 19 Lewistown Elementary School
Loopy for Lewistown
We'll meander along the quiet country roads surrounding Lewistown. It's not
flat, but there are no long hills. One planned rest stop approximately half-way
through the ride, and we'll stop as desired by the group. We will ride as a
group and no one will be left behind. No go if spit freezes.
