Please note that the times specified for each ride are the ride start times. You should
arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time to prepare for the ride.

Weekday & Evening Rides
Tuesdays 6:00 pm B 25-35 Bechtel
Bechtel Tuesdays
The rides leave from the Bechtel parking lot (along the woods) at 5275
Westview Drive (off Crestwood close to Rt. 85) at 6:00 PM. May be some hills,
and we'll try to stay together.
Wednesdays 9:00 am B+ 35-50 Wheel Base
Wednesday AM Road Ride
This is a mid-week ride that starts at the Wheel Base bike shop in Frederick.

Wednesdays 6:15 pm C 15-20 Utica District Park
Utica Park & Ride
The Wednesday night rides wrap up in September so come on out and get in
some final evening spins before the night time pizza rides take over in
October. We'll try to hit this season's favorite routes on this easy
mid-week spin where new riders are always welcome.
This is a social ride and
no one will be left behind. If needed we will regroup periodically or split
into two groups when feasible. Usually no go in rain and ride leader duties
may alternate so some weeks may be impromptu.
Wednesdays 6:00 pm 17-25 The Bicycle Escape
The Wednesday Escape
Join the TBE crew every Wednesday night for a ride of
17-25 miles at an 'intermediate' pace of 16-19mph.

Thursdays 6:00 pm 20 Bicycle Fix
Thursday Night BF Ride
Join fellow riders each Thursday evening at Bicycle Fix for an
approximately 20 mile ride. Ride will leave the shop at 6:00pm. Bicycle Fix is
located in the Westview Promenade off Route 85. The address is 5235 Buckeystown
Pike in Frederick. Contact the shop in advance for more information.

Thursdays 6:00 pm B 25-35 Bechtel
Bechtel Rides
The rides leave from the Bechtel parking lot (along the woods) at 5275

(front and rear) as we may still ride into the night. A couple of hills,
no one left behind.

Sep 1 (Sat) 9:00 am B-/C+ 50 Glade Elementary School
To the Sheetz in Taneytown
No big climbs today. A civilized pace up to Carroll County and across the
PA line before the rest stop at the Sheetz in Taneytown. We'll be on a couple
of roads that we’ll revisit on the Hanover Cyclers' Labor Day Century on Monday
Sept 3 and our own club century on Sept 15.
Sep 2 (Sun) 9:00 am C 35 Lewistown Elementary School
Easy Covered Bridges
Want to ride through all three covered bridges, but not take all day to do
it? Then this is your ride. We’ll go at an easy pace as we tour Frederick
County's historic covered bridges with a rest stop in Emmitsburg. No go in
rain or temps over 110 degrees.
Sep 9 (Sun) 12:00 noon D 7/13 Lewistown Elementary School
Pick Your Distance
This ride is for beginners and those who like a short, easy ride. We'll
start at Lewistown Elementary School and head north on some of the quietest and
least hilly roads that Frederick County offers. We will loop back and arrive at
the school after seven miles. Those who wish can call it quits there. The ride
will continue south and loop around to see the Utica Covered Bridge before
arriving at the school for a thirteen-mile ride.

Club Century

Sep 23 (Sun) 9:00 am C 29 Culler Lake (2nd & College)
Lake to Park
We'll leave town and head out Opossumtown Pike to some country roads, crossing one
covered bridge. We'll stop at Utica Park. Pack a light snack. There are plenty of
hills, but nothing you can't handle. We'll ride as a group. No one left behind.
Sep 30 (Sun) 8:45 am C+ 63 Central Elementary School
Chesapeake Bay Ride
Note: This ride has been cancelled - we apologize for any inconvenience
Sundays 8:00 or 9:00 am A/B 35-50 Wheel Base
The Sunday Morning Road Ride
The entire group stays together for about an hour then usually breaks
into two smaller groups, a faster ride and a slower ride. Ride goes
if it is not too windy and the roads are dry. Start times vary during
the year based on shop hours so contact the shop in advance for more information.
