Evening Rides

Mondays 6:00 pm B/B+ Bechtel
Bechtel Rides
The rides leave from the Bechtel parking lot (along the woods) at 5275 Westview Drive (off Crestwood close to Rt. 85) at 6:00 PM. Bring lights (front and rear); a couple of hills, no one left behind.

Wednesdays 6:15 pm B 25-30 Luke's Pizza
Lights & Pizza
Lights are mandatory on this friendly, social ride; you’ll need a front white headlight and a red rear taillight. If you possess a reflective vest and/or clothing, wear them. Remember that the temps will be dropping throughout the ride. Pizza and/or sandwiches at Luke’s after the ride. We usually do lots of hills in order to stay warm. No one will be dropped.

Wednesday AM Road Ride
This is a mid-week ride that starts at Wheel Base Bicycles in Frederick. Call the bike shop in advance for more information. Wheel Base: 301-663-9288.

Sundays 9:00 am A/B 35-50 Wheel Base
The Sunday Morning Road Ride
The entire group stays together for about an hour then usually breaks into two smaller groups, a faster ride and a slower ride. Ride goes if it is not too windy and the roads are dry. Wheelbase: 301-663-9288.

Somewhere Over the Easter Rainbow
Somewhere over the Eastern Rainbow lies a New Market. Terrain will generally be rolling. Steep, sharp, short hills around the New Market area before returning to rolling terrain.

Nov 13 (Sun) 9:00 am C+ 50 Catoctin High School
Michaux Bound
Hopefully the trees will still have some color for this scenic ride. We will have lunch at Caledonia State Park, so either pack a lunch or buy one at a nearby store and tote to the park. There are some hills, but everyone is still in shape from Summer riding — right?

Dec 10 (Sat) 9:00 am C+ 20-40 Rose Hill Plaza
Bagel Rides XII
'Ride the Bagel' rides are back for this Winter. Don't sit at home all Winter — come on out for the Bagel Rides. The distance and hills will vary, depending on the weather. Warm (40+ degrees) will be 40 miles and hilly. Colder means fewer miles and fewer hills. Lunch at Zi Pani Bagel Store after the ride.
