2007 Seagull Century
On any given year, the Seagull Century is guaranteed to bring tears to the eyes of the most hardened rider
due to the driving rains, fierce winds and bombardier seagulls. This year - not so much.
The weather was great and a good time was had by all, even those face down in the beer
garden after the ride.
As per Jen Eberhardt:
"Hard to believe I biked 100 miles from Salisbury to Assategue Island and back but God
provided lots of riders to talk to, great weather, and scenery along the way to distract
me from looking at my miles on my computer He even provided when I got a flat tire with
the rest stop being a 15 minute walk away to me getting a bike mechanic to fix it. (this
was great when rest stops are every 20 miles.) Hope you enjoy the pictures and feel
inspired to get on a bike with me someday...don't worry...you make it back and we'll
do a double OR single digit number. :)
