DC Randonneurs 400K Brevet Not content to rest on his laurels after an easy 300 kilometer (198 miles) ride two weeks ago, Bill Smith ventured forth for a slightly more challenging 400 kilometer (250 miles) ride on Saturday May 19th. Joining him again was his partner in agony - Alex.Scientific study has been unable to determine why these 'Randonneurs' ride such long distances. Is it some sort of disease, a genetic anomaly, or just plain and simple foolishness? We may never know, but we can take comfort in the fact that it's better 'them' than 'us' . . . You can see a description of the ride here: http://www.dcrand.org/rt_desc/month_brevet.html#may_19_400k
