2007 Bike to Work Day
Good weather and 50% more registrations compared to 2006 combined for a great
turn out on Bike to Work Day. A contingent rode the grueling route from City Hall
to the MARC station pit stop in the wee morning hours to sample tasty treats and
visit with folks from TransIT, The Bicycle Escape and Bicycle Fix.
The Bicycle Fix had a workstand handy to help with some minor repairs and The
Bicycle Escape raffled off a new commuter bicycle. TransIT had raffle drawings for
some goodies as well and somehow, Frederick Pedalers club officers managed
to win all the swag . . .
