Glade Impromptu

The weather forecast for Saturday Januaray 6th called for temperatures in the high 60's. Sounds like perfect riding weather right? Well yes, unless you listened to the other part of the forecast calling for windy conditions...

It was a beautiful day but boy o boy was it windy! It took us 25 minutes to get from Glade Elementary School up to the new Utica District Park where we toured the newly opened grounds. A grand opening and ribbon cutting will occur in the spring and none of the sports fields are open yet, but the facility is very nice and we encourage you to check out the fine use of your tax dollars.

From Utica we only ventured as far north as Blacks Mill before turning east where we enjoyed a mighty tailwind before heading back to Glade via Legore and Dublin.

Did I mention it was windy?

It was so windy we saw a chicken lay the same egg four times. Now that's windy!

We should have know it was going to be a tough day when George Ruszat
had to change a tube in the same tire twice before we even left the parking lot...

Ah - that's better.
