Final Glade Brigade Ride of 2006
A perfect evening greeted seven (+2) riders at Glade Elementary School for the final Wednesday Night Glade Brigade ride of the season. Joining ride leader Brian King were newcomer Mike Wilkes along with regulars Beth Brown, George Ruszat, John Gorham, Mike Procario and Chuck Wilson.John joined us for only his second Brigade ride of the season - his other one being the first Wednesday night ride way back in April. Apparently he got lost up in the woods of the Catoctins and just recently found his way back to civilization.
Mike & Betsy LaPadula arrived early and headed out for some extra miles (shocker), but didn't make it back to the start before the regular ride departed although we met up with them in the parking lot at the end of the ride.
Attendance and weather were both excellent for this ride series in 2006. We're already looking forward to starting up again next spring
