Easy Covered Bridges
The ride leader was so convinced it was going to rain that he did not bring his bike to the ride start. When this oversight was pointed out, he returned home to fetch his steed, then a hopeful group of eight riders set out for a tour of Frederick County's three covered bridges.The weather remained overcast and there was just the slightest sprinkle of rain at one point, but no significant precip made for a nice ride out to Emmitsburg and back.
