Airy, MD Frederick Pedalers Club Annual Meeting Join us Saturday March 1st, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm in the 3rd floor conference room of the William R. Talley Recreation Center for the 2008 Annual Meeting.Our special guest speaker will be John Thomas. Mr. Thomas recently took over the reigns as the Principal Transportation Planner for Frederick County. He will tell us about upcoming plans for bicycle-friendly projects around the county. The club will provide the usual drinks, cups, plates, plastic ware, etc. Pizza will be provided however you may bring a dish to share if you are so inclined. If that's not enough reason to show up, we will be giving away two door prizes: a $100 gift certificate to The Bicycle Escape and a spiffy Timbuk2 Classic Messenger bag valued at $85.00. The house in question is the second house (on the right) after making the left from Angleberger Road — just after the farm with the emus.Please remember that, if you are chased or attacked by a canine, you should report it to Frederick County Animal Control. Don't assume somebody else is going to do it — you may be saving the neck of the next cyclist coming along tomorrow (maybe yourself).
