Civil War Century Cyclist Injury
Hugh Macintosh was the cyclist hit by a pickup truck during the Civil War Century ride on September 15th. He rides with the Baltimore Bicycling Club. The accident happened around mile 70 on the downhill portion of Jacks Mountain Road. Authorities are trying to piece together the incident and would appreciate if any eye-witnesses can contact the police at (717) 334-8111.He is making progress and his family is very hopeful considering the extent of his injuries. Thanks to everyone for pulling for him.
Frederick Pedalers Club Dinner
The Club's Annual Dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, November 10, at Mexicali Cantina in Frederick. Members and non-members are welcome at this non-cycling social event where we each pay our own bill.Please notify Treasurer Bob Dollar via clubmail@frederickpedalers.org if you plan to attend the dinner.
