"Stuff" Available from WABA

As part of the bicycle master plan, the DCDOT has produced the city’s first bike map. The map features trail and bike facility information, a bicycle level of service map, safety tips, Metro information and much, much more. Free copies are available through WABA. Please call 202-628-2500 or email WABA at waba@waba.org if you would like a copy.

In response to the deaths of four cyclists at the hands of truck drivers in 2004, WABA and DDOT have developed a truck and bicycle safety brochure designed to teach truck drivers and bicyclists the proper way to interact with each other on the roadway. The brochure will be mailed to over 30,000 truckers in the Washington region. If you would like to receive a copy, please call WABA at 202-628-2500 or email waba@waba.org.
